We’re Building Affordable Homes
Right Now
Sisters Woodlands
Sisters Habitat was fortunate to partner with Sisters Woodlands Development, BUILD LLC, and CS Construction to create 10 homes within this 35 acres subdivision.
Each of these 10 homes were being constructed to FireWise standards with flame-resistant exterior details and materials, along with drought-tolerant FireWise landscape practices.
These high performance envelopes and building systems far exceed the rigorous requirements of the 2025 state energy code, with anticipated energy costs projected to be less than half of a comparable new home.
BUILD LLC serves as both planner and architect for the project while HHPR completed Civil Design, CS Construction served as General Contractor.
Village Meadows
Our 21 affordable home Village Meadows development, located on Desert Rose Loop was completed in June 2026. All dwellings are classified as single-family design, one-story, with an attached garage that will accommodate one car. Every home is built to Earth Advantage Platinum standards to assure energy efficiency.
Larch Commons
Sisters Habitat is in the construction stages for building 19 Affordable Homes and 6 Workforce Homes over the next 14 months near the intersection of Adams and Larch in Sisters.
We Build Energy Efficent Homes to Help Houses Remain Affordable
Our homes are built to Earth Advantage Platinum Standards.
Energy Star Certification is awarded to homes built to high standards of energy efficiency, ensuring lower energy consumption, reduced utility bills, and improved comfort. Sisters Habitat for Humanity homes achieve this certification through features such as efficient insulation, high-performance windows, tight construction and ducts, and energy-efficient heating and cooling systems. These homes also include Energy Star rated lighting and appliances, all of which contribute to reduced environmental impact. Each home undergoes rigorous third-party inspections, testing, and verification to meet strict EPA requirements, ensuring that families benefit from lower energy costs, enhanced comfort, and a sustainable living environment.
